The 9-Month Virtual Goddess Immersion:

Incorporating Myth, Imagination

& Creative Expression into Clinical Practice

March 24th, 2024 – January 5th, 2025

Immerse yourself in Divine Feminine ancient stories

and mythology, archetypes, and creative expression within

the container of a supportive Goddess community.

This is a unique virtual opportunity to combine self-care,

 personal growth, and continuing education!

This virtual Goddess Immersion is for anyone interested.

Mental health professionals have the ability to earn a

continuing education certificate with

*up to 25 NBCC contact hours.

This highly experiential virtual 9-month wisdom journey is designed for mental health professionals who are interested in coming together within the container of a supportive Goddess community to learn through personal experience about incorporating elements of imagination, myth, archetypes, a variety of forms of creative expression, and meditation into their personal lives and clinical practice through the lens of the Divine Feminine. This virtual deep dive is for therapists seeking to expand their own wellbeing, interested in immersing in Goddess studies and the transpersonal, and for professionals seeking new, creative ways to work with clients.

This course is unique as it is a personal journey or “Goddess Quest” that is split into three trimesters over 9 months. Participants will come together in virtual community each month and learn about and explore a different ancient story/myth/archetype of the Divine Feminine under the larger theme of the “Mother” through the lens of different cultures. Each Goddess archetype will guide us on a creative journey that will lead us to discover hidden, unconscious aspects of ourselves. We will explore how each archetype is reflected through our own personal journey. A range of creative modalities will be offered and explored. This program supports each participant in discovering the methods of expression that are most comfortable for them so that they can also assist clients in finding their full expression. Through our own embodied experience, we will gain a deeper understanding of how to facilitate these processes with our clients.

Our virtual gatherings are scheduled for Sundays late afternoon/evening. Therapists will receive NBCC contact hours based on attendance and participation at each live gathering/workshop.

*(Opportunity for additional fee and additional contact hours) Participants may also choose to come together with our supportive community for a long weekend in fall in coastal Maine for an optional in-person “Goddess Quest” immersive experience.

Myths and ancient stories can serve as a powerful reflection and metaphor for our own personal growth and for use with our clients in clinical practice. The archetypes within ancient stories and myths still guide and teach us in our lives in today’s world as we experience our own difficulties and challenges. Conscious use of our imagination and engaging in creative expression provides for an embodied experience of the archetypes/myths/ancient stories.

Meet the Facilitators

Bodhi Simpson, PhD, LCPC, ATR is an art therapist who incorporates work with imagination, creative expression, and ancient story/myth into clinical practice. She enjoys reconnecting people with the magic and mystery of the mythic, symbolic, imaginal realms and in learning to “see” through the eyes of their hearts so that they may have an embodied encounter with life. Bodhi believes that when we learn to see with the eyes of our heart that compassion can guide our imagination, and we are inspired to consider the highest good as we vision a way forward and take action on behalf of Earth. Additionally, Bodhi is a visionary artist, a professor at the University of Maine at Farmington in the Masters of Art in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Creative Arts program, a co-founder of Wisdom Journeys, LLC, an international experiential workshop business where participants have an opportunity to travel to the land where the myth/ancient stories were born and embody the archetypes through their own direct experience, and co-founder of the virtual Triple Spiral Mystery School that offers a unique transformational exploration of Divine Feminine ancient stories/myths and archetypes.

Jennifer Sundeen, D.Min is the founder of the New England Goddess Temple in Harvard Massachusetts and co-founder of the virtual Triple Spiral Mystery School. Jen has walked the path of the Goddess for over three decades. She is a licensed Earth Minister, a High Priestess, a yoga instructor, a spiritual teacher, a healer, an author, an activist, a community architect, and the mother of three daughters. She received her Doctorate of Earth Ministry in 2022, facilitates Goddess workshops internationally, and is the founder of several organizations that support The Divine Feminine, girls, women, spirituality and the Earth, including The Durga Studio, Durga's Red Tent, a global sacred travel organization called Goddess Pilgrimages, and The Lalla Project. Jennifer is committed to working towards a world in which Mother Earth and all beings upon Her are seen as sacred, are protected, and are treated with reverence. Jen believes an intimate relationship with the Divine Feminine is essential for this necessary awakening to occur.

Shiila Safer, intuitive artist, author, and expressive arts coach assists people in re-aligning with the natural world and provides practices to help individuals embody their wild, playful, creative, brilliant Goddess selves. She uses guided visualizations, journaling, and mindfulness in nature practices to awaken the senses and help others connect deeply with themselves and with their environment. As a Wild Woman and Advanced Art and Archetypes Group Facilitator, certified Creative Journal Expressive Arts Institute Instructor, and Creativity in Nature Coach, Shiila is dedicated to the empowerment of women through reawakening our deep connection with our Earth Mother and our own innate body wisdom. Shiila was also trained in Nature Field Therapy by Dr. Will Taegel, and she believes that we are ushering in the New Earth together. Shiila is co-founder of the virtual Triple Spiral Mystery School, where  the Divine Feminine is explored in all her aspects. As we embody the forms of the Goddess, we experience our wholeness and can co-create a more loving and just world together, based in mutual respect and honoring of the sacred in our world.
